The Delta is one of the most amazing watersheds I have ever had the privilege to witness. Unlike most waterways it does not flow into an ocean, but rather fans out into an inland delta in North West Botswana. The water then evaporates or soaks into the sandy ground at the edge of the Kalahari Desert.

I have never been so moved by a trip. The connection to the land and animals was something that I can not fully explain. Over the course of ten days camping and driving around the wilderness of Botswana I felt an ageless communion. Seeing Elephants, lions, hippos, giraffes and much more up close and truly wild was unforgettable. Every single person on the photo safari that I led was deeply moved in much the same way.
